in the relation of ashraya ashrayi bhava i have learnt that VAYU RESIDES IN ASTHI , PITHA RESIDES IN SWEDHA AND RAKTHA, SLESHMA IN MAMSA AND OTHER DHATUS RESPECTIVELY... i want to know in detail about the relation of vayu with asthi.. does asthi increase when there is increase in vayu? or it decreases...? what exactly happens here. beause it is said that vayu and asthi are the exceptional case where the increase and decrease pocess happens in a opposite way. where as when pitta increases there is increase of raktha and swedha. if the ashraya increase then the ashrayi also increase . and decrease of ashraya leads to decrease of ashrayi. but it is not the same for vata and asthi. how? and why?

All other asraya asrayi bhavas, increase of one cause consecutive increase of other, except in the case of Asthi and Vata. (asthi is the asraya of vata, and the changes -decrease or increases is not related with each. in apatarpana, asthi decreases (asthikshaya) but instead of decreasing vata, it increases (vatakopa due to dhatukshaya). if asthi increases due to santharpana (ksheeragrithasana, tiktavasti) instead of increasing vata, it subsides.
